A prayer from a wife for her husband
​
Father, I come to you in Jesus' name, as woman and intercessor of my family. You formed me from the rib of my husband, which is why I must stay on my knees and intercede for him, with You. I have not been placed over my husband, but next to him in oneness according to Your command. I would like to call my husband’s name, (husband’s name), before you. You have appointed him as king, priest, and prophet in our home. It is a tremendous responsibility and a huge task, and my husband is only flesh and blood. He cannot carry and perform this task on his own, which is why I want to ask You to strengthen him and guide him, give him power and wisdom to fulfill this command.

Help him to be a worthy king, as the Father is King over His creation. Help him to protect our home, and provide as the Father protects and provides for His creation. Help him not to allow any enemy on our territory. I pray him into the position as king of our home. I also want to pray that my husband will be a worthy priest in our home, as the Son is the High Priest of His church, that he will rule our home with love and patience, as Jesus would do Himself. I pray that he will teach his house the will of the Father.

I pray him into the position as priest of our home. I also pray that my husband will be a worthy prophet for our home, as the Holy Spirit is the mouthpiece of the Trinity on earth. Let my husband be led by the Holy Spirit and speak as the Holy Spirit instructs him to do. I pray that my king, priest, and prophet will always live and function in the will of God, that all will be well with our house and You can bless us.

You also instructed him to protect our home against the forces of evil. Please teach my husband how to spiritually wage war and also command the angels to help him with this task, so that the evil forces will not be able to attack our home. Live through my husband, so that he will always portray Your image, wherever he may go, so people will know that Christ lives in him. Let him be the embodiment of God.

Father, please bless my husband’s work, bless his hands, his feet, strengthen his back and assure him that a woman has been placed at his side, a woman who will always support him and whom he can trust and rely on. Help us, as a unit, to love You more and more each day, and to honestly serve you with all our body, soul, and spirit.

A prayer of a man for himself and his family

Father, I come to You in the name of Your son, Jesus Christ.
Firstly, I would like to place myself, my wife, our children, our family, business, ministry, and all that You have placed in my hands on the altar before You, so that the Spirit of God, who convicts us of sin, will search our whole being and all we have, for any wrongdoing. Spirit of God, please show me where I have neglected to oppose evil. If I have opened any doors for evil, I confess it now and ask that You will forgive me and wash me in the Blood of the Lamb, and forever shut those doors with the Blood of Jesus. Because I believe that You have forgiven me, I now take back all the power, might, authority and territory that I have lost, from the wicked. I once again take control over all that God has placed in my hands, to manage for Him and I sprinkle all that He has placed in my hands, with the Blood of Jesus. You have appointed me as king, priest, and prophet in our house. It is a huge responsibility and a huge task, I am a mere man, of flesh and blood. I cannot accomplish and carry out this task alone, therefore that I ask of You to strengthen me and guide me, give me strength and wisdom to fully accomplish this task.
Help me to be a worthy king, as the Father is King over His creation.
Help me to protect my home and to provide as the Father cares for and protects His creation.
Help me to not allow any enemies onto my territory.
I pray that You will help me to stay in position, and function as the king of my house. May the fruit I bear, always be the fruit that the Father Himself carries. I also pray that You will make me a worthy priest of my house like the Son is High Priest of His church so that I will rule this home with love and patience, as Jesus Himself would do. I pray that You will teach me the will of the Father so that I can teach my house the will of the Father. Please help me to be worthy of the position of priest in my house, and to always be representative of the image of Jesus. I pray also that You will help me to be a worthy prophet in my house, as the Holy Spirit is the mouthpiece of the Trinity on earth. Holy Spirit, please guide me, so that I will speak as You want me to. I pray, as king, priest, and prophet that I will always live and function in the will of God, so that my house will prosper, and be blessed by You. You have also instructed me to protect my house against evil. Please teach me how to fight the spiritual battle and command the angels to help me with this task, so that evil cannot launch any attack on my house. Live through me, that I may always portray Your image so that wherever I go, people will know that Christ lives in me. Let me be the epitome of God.

Today I also want to call my wife’s name before You, Father, You have given me a precious jewel in ……………………….. (Wife’s name)
I ask that You will help me to always respect and love her, as You have commanded me in Your Word. Strengthen her with power and wisdom to fulfill the role that she must fulfill, as an intercessor in our marriage. Also, help her to educate the children in the will of the Father. Help us as a unit, to love each other and You more and more every day, and to sincerely serve You with all our heart, soul, and body.
​
Please also bless our children and grandchildren, with the blessings of God. Please bless everything that You have placed in my hands to manage for You, and guide me and grant me the wisdom on how to manage it according to Your will. I thank You that I can trust in You and know that You will help me to make a success of this great task, that You may be glorified through it.

I ask this all in Jesus' name and I thank You for it.

A prayer for the nation

COLOSSIANS 1:9-23
​
Verse 9: For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,
Verse 10: So that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,
Verse 11: Being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience,
Verse 12: And giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of His holy people in the Kingdom of Light.
Verse 13: For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the Kingdom of the Son He loves,
Verse 14: In whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
Verse 15: The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
Verse 16: For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him.
Verse17: He is before all things, and in Him, all things hold together.
Verse18: And He is the Head of the Body, the church; He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead so that in everything He might have the supremacy.
Verse19: For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him,
Verse 20: And through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through His blood, shed on the cross.
Verse 21: Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior.
Verse 22: But now He has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in His sight, without blemish and free from accusation
Verse 23: If you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
